Lone Mountain Ranch has a strong heritage rooted in Montana's western history. In fact, the history of the Ranch is so significant that it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in Dec. 2006.

Unusual care and expense went into the construction of the original log buildings in 1926 and each of the successive owners have done a remarkable job of preserving these original structures while updating them to meet the discriminating needs of our current guests.

From its inception, the Ranch has offered a western experience for visitors from around the world, a place with quality amenities and unparalleled access to the mountains, streams and wildlife that make up the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
